Jo Philby is a singer from Orkney, her debut CD Saltwater & Stone is now available to buy.

Saltwater & Stone has evolved from her continuing journey through music and song. It is a collection of songs she has been singing over the last 13 years. The songs range from the very first one learnt, to present day. They are an honest interpretation of the stories she enjoys singing about.
Although mainly an unaccompanied singer Jo has accompanying her for this recording an eclectic mix of some of Orkneys finest musicians. Jo has a warm & happy way with an audience that makes the listener feel part of the stories she sings about.
